The new USB-C Apple Pencil is now available for sale through Apple's website, with the first shipments arriving on November 3. It looks like it will be available in physical stores starting around November 8, too.

The $79 peripheral is the third Apple Pencil model, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's the best choice; it's the new cheaper, entry-level option. The second-generation Pencil is the highest-end one, at $129.

Today marks the release of the first "new" song by the Beatles since 1995. "Now and Then" is available on streaming services (with an Atmos mix where supported), and the story behind the song's production is one that's drawn a lot of interest from fans of the iconic rock band. The so-called iPhone giveaways marketed by Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T can make customers spend more on perks they don't need. These promotions are not actually free, and customers might end up spending more money on additional services they might not even use or need.

Mozilla's Firefox switched to Yahoo from Google in 2014, and the CEO Mitchell Baker says that the switch degraded the user experience and made it difficult for Firefox to compete on mobile because of defaults. This is part of the ongoing US v. Google trial.
