It is possible to run android apps on the iPad. A program called Alien Dalvik 2.0 runs the programs in the cloud and sends the information down to the iPad. This will work to run android on iPad 2 or the new iPad. Unfortunately this will run a little slow. An alternative would be to actual install android on the iPad.
