IBM is working on a new type of circuit that uses light instead of
electricity. This new technique will make supercomputers much faster and more efficient. Part of the chip are the same. For example the parts that store information and process information, are normal part. The interesting part is that fact that the connections between these parts are based off of light. These connections are faster, they use less power, and they do no loss information. One day, all of our computers will use this, and our computers will be much faster.

I'd buy a light PC if it can use sun light solely, so that I don't need to pay for the electricity any more.
ReplyDeleteThis would be brilliant. I hope top manufacturing computer companies such as IBM will develop such kind of technology to reduce ecological meltdown.
